Top 3 Hartford Happy Hours to go to Before the Yard Goats Game!
Baseball is back in Hartford tonight and though Dunkin' Donuts Park boasts a wide variety of food, beer and highlights local cuisine, you may still want to catch a happy hour special before heading to the park.
So here is our Hartford Happy Hour Starting Line-Up!
1. Agave Grill
Located around the corner from the park, Agave will get you into the baseball spirit with their winning street tacos, tableside guacamole, and of course, my personal favorite, margaritas!
Happy Hour is Mon-Fri 3-6 PM but in honor of the Yard Goats Home Opener, they will be celebrating 'til 7 with their NEW happy hour menu that includes $2 tacos and $4 margs!
2. V's Trattoria
On deck is V'a Trattoria on Trumbull Street! Walking distance from the stadium, maybe not in today's 30-degree weather, and is offering a special 'Game Day Goat's' Menu ALL season long!
Happy Hour is 3:30-6 PM! Menu highlights include; $9 pies and $5 Martini of the moment! Also, Lasagna Nachos?!? We're intrigued!
3. City Steam Brewery
Batting cleanup is the brewery down the street. City Steam is convenient, lots of room and bar space, and if you're going to celebrate Hartford baseball, you gotta also celebrate Hartford beer!
Happy Hour is 4-7 PM! Menu highlights include; $3 apps (we recommend the Potato skins and the wings) and $7 off their 1 gallon Beer Towers!
Bonus tips for first time Yard Goats fans!
Parking: $5 lots are located around the park on Church and Trumbull street. Street parking is free in Hartford after 6 PM but you will have to walk a little to get to the stadium.
Stadium Food: If you think you're going to want Bears BBQ, get in line early! The line will be long and it does not lighten up. Having said that the Mac Attack is worth the wait and they move you along pretty well.
