Review: Get the nachos. Blackened “Free Bird” Chicken Nachos! Other’s have described them as “lady nachos” AKA they have fancy cheese, an aioli sauce and a generous helping of fresh guacamole, did we mention they’re served in a skillet? Market Place is a classic “ladies who lunch” destination complete with restored wood tables, shiplap walls and chalk art above the bar. For happy hour, it is vibrant though the crowd is older, it’s Avon after all. The Nachos are on the happy hour menu and for the price tag of $7 worth it. My one drawback is the fact that none of the Market Place delicious cocktails are included on happy hour special, and for their usual prices, this is not a place that my budget can afford in the regular rotation.
