Review: Trumbull Kitchen, like all of the restaurants in the Max Restaurant Group, offers a good dining experience. The food is good, the wait staff is on point, the ambiance is nice. I would not classify it as over the top amazing, but it's a good place for a drink and apps. Price wise, as a twenty-three-year-old who usually has about $50 a week to play with, I could not come here for dinner. But, this is why happy hour is a thing! I ordered a cocktail and two appetizers and was decently full for about $11.00, my 6' 2" male friend ordered four appetizers and two beers.
Pro Tip: Get the bread and spread! I could have eaten their sundried tomato cream cheese spread with a spoon it was so good! I ate two baskets of bread on my own! Honestly, get that and a drink, and life is good!
